Nah, i made the roof frame and canvas so i could remove it in 5 minutes, so no tears there.

As for sleeping , imagine all the guys having to setup and packaway wet tents , when i get into a swag in a 1 bedroom ensuite trailer. ;)

Unlike most other forms of camping gear this one is dropped onto the towbar making the whole shootin' match twice the length.

Had a mate who decided to "go north" with the family and purchased a camper trailer to do same. Got past Brisbane and would have sold the thing for whatever he could get. Couldn't park. Took more fuel. Cumbersome. Couldn't go off-road with it (in real terms) and was not happy with it.

However he was pleased with it when camping locally with the family...

Towing can restrict access to some places....
