Love thevsoft top Quote:
Thanx for the kind comments - I love the soft tops I went twice round oz in my tj (and occasionally wished for a hard top) with the soft top. Now I have a jk and a hard top I never use it - it just sits in storage - I won't sell it because you never know lol As far as long distance touring goes - the 2dr jk is great - I have made up large drawers to replace the back seat and the roof top is very comfortable Jax & I did just under 10,000 kms and are looking forward to the Sydney Jeep Club cape trip later this year Cheers Hunty |
We were at Stockton on the 2nd of Jan, it turned out to be a full blown recovery fest. Recovered a Jackaroo bogged to the axles with a trailer in tow, A Rodeo running at 28 PSI, A Prado, A Kia Sportage with a blown engine. The Jackaroo turned out to be a real challenge with the weight of the trailer and soft sand. Ended up using 2 Jeeps to pull it out. We were enjoying it but forgot to click any pics of the recoveries...
