There is actually lots of great places to go driving in SA, Just have to know where.
I often go to the flinders ranges Know a few ppl up there that own stations and most parts of it are literally goat tracks. also Ngarkat is a great trip as well as scorpion springs and Mungo over near mildura.
Even some places up through the Forest near Mt Crawford.
Just need to find them and go exploring.
