100 per hose sounds good to me, mate, count me in as a certainty.

At around $200 Aus.. sounds like a good spares kit to have. The only sure way not to have the original fail...is to have a better quality spare... so count me in at this stage unless the costing goes berserk.

I'm OK at that price too - i bet the factry ones cost that anyway

Don't quote me on it, but I had a figure of about $470 in my head for the Jeep part ! was shocked when told but mine was a warranty job.

I'd be in on this too.

All right guys, time to choose now.

We have confirmation from Samco that they can tool up and actually do this for us. We have the minimum required order volume so we are right to go.

Have been advised that, while price can't be set until he actually see's the factory pipes, they will be 'close to the CRD Liberty', ie 52.88 pounds for the Turbo- Intercooler Pipe and 63.62 pounds for the Intercooler- Intake Manifold Pipe and about 10 pound for the clip kit. So, at today's exchange rate that's about 285.90AUD, add a bit of freight and we are looking at around $300.00-$350 for all Turbo hoses. I work for a bank so I can get a sweet exchange rate for us, will save us a little there.

The fact's of the matter are thus:
- Turbo Experts say that the pipes are crap
- They are all failing around 20-40,000k's, this will not change. DC will not upgrade the parts.
- Failure of the pipe makes the car undrivable, there are some of us which are waiting up to a week for a new pipe.
- Once it comes out of warantee, Stevill has said that the crap factory pipes are really expensive to replace and, we know, they will have to be replaced regularly.

So, I need to know who is definately in, given the prices above and, for those who are in, what colour do you want? Blue or Red?

i'm in. have to have them, now or soon anyway. may as well do it once and get it over with. any colour. the joys of owning a chrysler. you can see why they are going broke. thanks for the effort you're putting in. this is another example of what this forum is all about and the kind of people who are members of it. thanks again.
