By this time tomorrow I'll be able to tell you how much fuel I used from a full tank getting from Port Macquarie to Bris-vegas when I pick my new baby up. You'll need to do your computations allowing for the fact that I go like the ruddy clappers though. Anymore than that, I don't wanna know, it's far too scarey!

maybe thats all it is, bigger rubber - using higher revs maybe to keep them turning, so in return using more fuel?

it doesnt take einstein to work out that a new 2.4 litre engine uses way less than an old 4.0 litre engine... youd have to be mad to think otherwise...

Just to throw it out there... i get 21-23L/100km.... Sometimes worse....

Not to scare you any more however I'd suggest you will use more than one tank, one and a half or more if you have a heavy right foot...

Port Mac to Brisvegas is around 550km's. My fuel light comes on at around 320k's on the trip meter (about 280 around town) and I drive like an old man...
