May sound like a stupid question but have you replaced the radiator cap?

Breaking unis and diffs definetly driving style
Never doubted that When my mates n I go off road we go hard Got it 100 percent back together today Brand new colder thermostat it got up to last notch before red with air con on idling. Would of boiled if I didn't shut air con off Ran it with no aircon at 2000 rpm for a few minutes ran about 115 Took thermostat out idled under 100 Took it for a spin tonight stayed cold till I went down a dirt track near my house tested low range gave it a but of stick for 10 minutes Warmed up to about 115 and wouldn't go down sitting on idle wuth heater full noise, drove back home down highway 90 zone cold night started going higher on temp! With cold air going through Just at a loss 3 Cherokees in 6 months been most unreliable cars I have ever owned Had v8 falcons all my life never gave me trouble All the guys beating down gqs it Dosent mean shit to me I know they are good trucks for what I want out of a 4b 2 water pumps 3 radiators Numerous thermo stats Cooling system flushed out no blockages Different motor I have lifted the back of the bonnet with spacers Thermostat in thermostat out Hoses Can you see why I'm pissed off? I want my xj to be able to off road in 30 plus degrees with air con on I just can't see that happening |
