Has anyone had these tyres on a WK2?

After speaking with Vicroads the week before last they consider the WK Grand Cherokee height to be at the maximum level of Off Road II, that's around 53mm above standard without Quadra Lift.

Their interpretation was the "Maximum height offered across the range" that is available for that vehicle. When I mentioned Quadralift was an option, they asked was it an option on the vehicle, (a WK Laredo), and it is, they said it was fine to go up 2" without an engineers report due to the maximum height being about 53mm greater with Off Road II.

Once again the same was said about tyre diameter, 2" maximum maximum increase.

You actually found someone at Vicroads to give you a straight answer? Well done!

I've got a question.. which would you guys prefer on your WK2 for 80/20 city driving/offroad (which entails, unsealed gravel roads and sand) ?

Falken WildPeak AT LT275/65r18
Cooper Discoverer AT3 P265/60r18

The Falken's are $67 per corner cheaper, but I'm worried that they won't be as good in the wet on tarmac and as quiet as the AT3's.

Coopers not getting a great wrap atm on many 4WD/Camping/Touring forums, but suspect they're still a good tyre.

I looked at the Falken and was pretty impressed with them for the price. For your 80/20 would suggest they'd be fine. I need something more aggressive.

Looking at the tread design, I would have thought the Coopers would be noisier, but no qualification for this.
