My Jeep and its new tyres

Hi All,

Thought it was about time I posted a picture of my 2006 CRD KJ. Have been a member for a while though this is my first post. This is currently my 3rd Jeep - No:1 was a 42 Willys MB Jeep when I was 16 years old. No:2 was a 2000 XJ Diesel.

I have had the KJ for about 10 months now and really enjoy it! :D Mainly use it for towing my camper trailer and tinnie around. It already had Pedders suspension fitted when I bought it, other than that it's relatively standard. Starting to spend a bit of money on it now and purchased new tyres today from Bob Jane. They are Maxxis M/T 762 Bighorns 245/75R/16 which only cost me $210 each, I thought they were a bargain. The spare wouldn't fit in the holder so when I got home 15 minutes work with a jigsaw removing plastic from the holder and elongating the holes had it sorted.

Next purchase will be an ARB bar and a snorkel. ARB quoted $495 for the snorkel and want another $468 to fit it, so maybe I'll have a go at doing it myself over a weekend.

Cheers

Rob
