Anyone install one of these? I just installed one and my standard alpine sub is no longer working. Anyone have any ideas?

What wiring harness have you used?

Jeep harness for amp vs non-amp is slightly different as I understand.

Installed one in my WJ, the amp on wire was not in the harness, just needed to connect it to the accessories wire from memory so it get the on signal.

What model did you get? i found mine to be too slow for my liking.

I got the latest Android 10 10.1”. So far no complaints starts up quicker then the standard unit and has no lag so far.

Ok I’ll have to find a wiring diagram to see which colour is the amp wire

So it appears it’s rear speakers and sub that don’t work only the front are working.

It’s driving me crazy. Amp is connected

Jeep amps control the speakers and front/rear fade. It is a known issue. You have to wire them using a specific wiring harness that is designed for this. Something like this:

Is the Joying unit specific to your year model? The Joying unit I have in my 2012 is full plug & play and everything works as it should.

Big Dave thanks, mine came with it as well. I have managed to get all the speakers to work, but the rear and sub are very low, doesn’t matter what settings I play with I cannot get them to go any louder.

Interesting. Have you tried contacting whoever sold the unit to you or joying direct?

It’s weird, just started working while driving, so I’m thinking there is a loose connection somewhere.
