It's all good and well suggesting such a thread and making such rules; where are your pics?! This is my place holder post as I've only just ordered my SCX10 and goodies within the last hour so will edit this at a later date and add images.
Edit: you'll be pleased to know I've bought a TJ shell for the new toy... |

FYI I have achieved this but not running coils on mine. I also use rubber bump stops on the shocks and the vehicle sits on them when flat. This allows for a complete droop system which also gives a great LCOG. |
my memory card is playing up so i cant get photo's off my phone atm.. but when i work it out ill be sure to post it up.
at the moment i just have a stock losi night crawler but i plan to get ALOT smaller tires and rims for it and get the cherokee body on. then get a better servo and take it more down to scale! |
I'll get some up by tonight
|
shit phone quality.
my plan is to put smaller tires on and i was going to use some fuel line over the inside of the shock as bumpstops so it doesnt fook the cherokee body and then i want it more to scale http://i47.tinypic.com/357my60.jpg |

4 door jk is bloody nice

Amazing quality and pretty heavy for an alloy! Produces more tyre bag so I'll have to take some chassis weight out now. |

Action shots to hopefully come this weekend when it gets mobile again. |
HSP 1/10 Crawler (2 shells) I've modified my sons Chevy Avalanche shell (removed the front bumper and rear bumper) as I don't like the other one. It's working but still contacts on full flex. The plan is to make some bump stops to prevent contact with the wheel arch.

It's insane... http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...wksNest047.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...wksNest046.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...wksNest045.jpg |

I've also changed the rear to a 4 link setup.. the flex is a little smoother. It's also moved the rear wheels back so longer wheel base which is great. I'll probably do the front but not just yet. I've changed the front steering to alloy and painted it black (looks the goods). Black Internal Spring Air Shocks 100mm, SPECIFICATIONS: extended center to center: 100mm compressed center to center: 66mm overall length: 108mm diameter: 13mm ss shaft 7mm http://a763.g.akamai.net/7/763/1644/...1/img3/img.jpg |

Here's mine with a few action pics finaly

These are the first action pics of mine. Just swapped out the honcho bumpers for these complete with lights- I now can't get onto the bike tyres from the flat (had to climb over my shoe), funny thing is I thought the approach angle would be better with this bumper.
For those that didn't read my other pic whore post with the below images the bike tyres will be part of the Jambo crawler track - should be fun with a bit of moisture! http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...IMG_0025-1.jpg http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...d/IMG_0046.jpg |
I think you need bigger rubber on the TJ :)
