Have only just found a new job after being made redundant by the Newman government late last year. New job = less money, but more interesting area with potential, so am stoked.

Design, sales, installation and maintenance of IP based phone systems and data networks (yep, I do the lot! but not much in the sales side these days). Background is electronic engineering and IT. Hobby is model aircraft (electric powered) and of course mechanical work on the Jeep. So being the tight a$$ I am I end up pretty much jack of all trades! (I know, I know, master of none..)

Man everyone has fancy jobs! Nothing fancy for me! Tattoo artist in Canberra! Come get something!

anthonygubbin 02-07-2013 10:52 PM

My trade was a baker/pastry cook. I was then a youth worker for 11 years, but in between I worked in a timber yard and also took on a second job as a baker because the pay was shit in retail. Left youth work and went out on my own as a gardener/maintenance man/landscaper also worked as a green keeper during that time. Studied for 10 years and I am a qualified social scientist. In between jobs now. Just hoping I get an answer soon to the one I applied for two weeks ago as Employment Consultant.

Regards A
