Roof Rack Mounting With Snorkel

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to source a roof rack but I am having no joy because of the positioning of my snorkel. I live in Townsville and have tried taking the vehicle to specialist welders to get a bracket made but still no joy. :wall: My in-laws work in the car industry and again no joy:wall:

I have searched the forum and found nothing suitable. I want to be able to change the roof from hard top to soft top, which without the snorkel is no big problem in itself. I don't want to use a track system on the hard top.

TJM at Enoggera in Brisbane were excellant when I down there with doing the Jeep up but I haven't been able to find anyone else since. Tempted to drive to Brissy to get the work done knowing it will be done professionally.

I'm also about to fit 31" tyres and want a 2" lift. Anyone know of anywhere good in Townsville to get work done? Everywhere seems dodgey and TJM in Townsville told me it was illegal to get a 2" lift!!!

Can anyone make any recommendations?

ARB are awesome but generally a little more expensive. I have had all my JK work done there. I am also trying to get some sought of rack organised. If you find someone who will fabricate, let me know.

See if you can find old posts from Laz on his roof rack. Sits over the hard/soft top and I'm pretty sure he has a snorkel too.
