What is this plug?

Gents,

Anyone know what this plug is? It is on the drivers side close to the ABS module (i think thats what it is).

I can't find where anything is missing, and everything seems to be working.

EDIT: It is a 2010 3.8

I got one too in my 2018 JKU.. NO idea.

Do you have a manual or automatic?

The only thing near there, in my '08 manual, is a similar sized plug that is attached to the clutch master cylinder. So if you have an auto, it would not be used.
