Lost Key Fob - What a rip off! Hi guys
Unfortunately I lost one of my WK2 keys the other week and haven't been able to find it since. Spoke to Jeep and they want $400 for a replacement!! I knew it would be expensive, but that much!? I've done a bit of looking around, but I was just curious if any of you guys had any ideas on where to get a cheaper one. Cheers |
That is almost exactly what Toyota wanted for a genuine replacement key for my wife's Yaris.

Don't the keys still have to be programmed by jeep?

There was something about (WK) export models have a differn't freq to the US ones, do heaps of research.

The more they charge. More turn off buying the product and thats across the board so now I wonder what one may say when purchasing a vehicle .The only thing we know is we are being ripped off .Car manufacturers and dealers are so bloody arrogant

Thanks for the replies everyone. I too do recall something about the export fobs being different... hmm this could prove to be tricky
