Anyone ever use the AlfaOBD software? Says it does WK but no mention if WH and waiting on a reply from them.
https://www.alfaobd.com/supported_cars.html I have had problems and unable to lock and unlock the doors since using the Appcar DiagFCA software to program two new Mopar WH FOBs. Even the door switches and original FOB stopped working at the same time. Hoping I can reprogram with a program that runs on a PC that is known to work with the WH. |
There's a demo version available in the play store that has almost all the functionality except active diagnostics and modifications.
The WH is a export WK (2007-2010 for the CRD at least) so it works with no issues, I've used it on my 2005 WH succesfully(the demo version). Another option is jscan but it has far less active features than alfaobd yet. Sadly both of them have caveats that makes them annoying(alfaobd has no whole-car DTC scan/clear capability, whilst jscan has very few active tests) |
They got back to me and just said to try the demo version and see if it works. Might give it a try and see what it can do as the problem I have should be showing codes, but none have come up using the Appcar DiagFCA software. It has live streaming etc.

I tried out the software today but it is very basic and no where near as comprehensive as the Appcar DiagFCA I have been using.

also diagfca is twice as expensive and needs a PC. you also have jscan, but has barely any activation test, but AFAIK has coding support in beta |
Not sure where you are getting your prices from but Appcar is $49 the same as Alfa?
I bought for two licences at $69. |
from play store, alfaobd is 22 USD i have no idea why their website lists it as 49, it's also not VIN limited.
jscan is also ~22 but it's VIN limited diagfca is 50 per VIN |
