Ordered: JK Rubicon 2 Door
 

Hey guys,

Thought I would start a thread for people who have or are concidering ordering a new JK Wrangler. Last weekend I ordered a 2 Door JK Rubicon in red, paid my $500 deposit and hope to take delivery in March 07. I have been in contact with Dam Chr Aust. also and they have definatly confirmed the Rubicon in the lineup for next year, hence my order. My deposit is subject to price and the car. I really miss my TJ and cant wait to get back into a Wrangler. Hope to hear from some of you guys about your thoughts on the JK and orders if anyone has placed one?

Did they give you any rough pricing indication?

Placed an order of a hemi unlimited Rubicon about a year ago.....
And although the dealer isn't around anymore, I pan to buy one IF DC do eventually bring them in.....Nope not interested in die-sel.

I'll be placing an order as soon as I can get a test drive. Black JK Rubicon for me!

I was told price would be approx. $36000 give or take which when you look at the exchange rate and the cost of the car in the USA were kinda getting ripped off but again my order was subject to price so if when they announce the price im not happy I can cancel my order without any problems and get my deposit back.

36k for a new rubicon... I think you would be lucky to get that. I think they will be more in the vicinity of 40k plus.

The two door rubicon will be around that 36k price according to Jeep for the 2 door but the 4 door will be up around 40k. I know it never works like this but if you do a conversion of the US price for a 2 door Rubicon it comes in at around 35k not including on roads. With the stong Aussie dollar against the US I think you will all be surprised.
