Hey everyone,

I was wondering if it's possible to make a 2" lift kit for my 94 Cherokee Sport? Has anyone done this before?

My dad is a panel beater so I'm not limited for tools/materials. I also have a complete spare 95 Cherokee - would any parts from this help?

Also would 30" tyres fit on the standard height of the cherokee (without too much rubbing whilst 4wd on the beach?)

Thanks,
Adrian :)

You could grab a leaf or two from the parts XJ and stick them in your current leaf pack, the longer leafs will give the better ride but of course adding more stock leafs will give lift but also firm up the pack and it wont flex as well. There's always a compromise.

For the front a 2" spacer will get you the lift but again new coils will give a better ride and more flex but the spacer will get the tyres under there.

All up that would be a very cheap 2" lift, less than $100 ;)

A leaf out of a Falcon ute leaf pack can also be used, the longer the Falcon leaf the more lift, but the worse the ride....
