Welcome to the forum.
Best info on the web for xj's =manual. http://greatlakesxj.com/tech.html If you are thinking of modding your xj it is all covered in these links. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=968708 lots of 2 inch lifts available. Was a thread on that exact subject a couple of weeks ago just have a search and it will show up. |
You could grab a leaf or two from the parts XJ and stick them in your current leaf pack, the longer leafs will give the better ride but of course adding more stock leafs will give lift but also firm up the pack and it wont flex as well. There's always a compromise.
For the front a 2" spacer will get you the lift but again new coils will give a better ride and more flex but the spacer will get the tyres under there. All up that would be a very cheap 2" lift, less than $100 ;) Cheers Steve |
were in perth?

A leaf out of a Falcon ute leaf pack can also be used, the longer the Falcon leaf the more lift, but the worse the ride....
