What is this?

I just got my jeep back from chadstone Jeep, where they where replacing my radiator. (Sat warranty claim)

I drive it home and the bloody thing drops its guts.

So now I have a non drivable, no air con gas jeep. Yay....

ANyways, as I was inspecting the engine bay I noticed this, which I hand not seen before. As my trust for chadstone jeep is very very low right now, i'd like help understandin what this is, and whats the go with it just hanging loose like this.

See images - Any help appreciated.

As for the f**k up on their work, I am going to see if I can get Trax to do the work and have jeep chadstone pay. (Anyone got experience with that? Is it even possible, under sat warranty?)

Like most manufacturers, Jeep makes basically 'universal' left, or right, hand drive wiring harness. That connector would be for something that is not included in your spec vehicle.

Good luck with getting it fixed. What did they mess up to kill it?

Warranty claims are forced by the 16 yo kids at the stealerships. FCA wont allow a 3rd party to do any repairs.

I just gave up on warranty, I am out of pocket about $80 for a broken door switch. and saved about 10k on servicing charges by taking it elsewhere

I wouldn't worry about it. My 2012 has the same plug just hanging in the breeze.

Rod.

Thanks all.

I figured it was a hanger, but I was hyper critical once they stuffed everything.

I’ll drop a bit of a write up of my issues good and bad over this ordeal. For the next weary traveler not to repeat my mistakes.
