Grad Cherokee 2007 Drivers Seat

Hi Guys,

Looking to buy a car second hand and it looks and drives great. Except, my head rubs on the roof with the seat in the fully down position and I'm only 178cm tall.

Does this sound like a seat adjustment issue and if so what should I look at to rectify this ? The seat does go up and down smoothly but just not down enough. When I look under the seat there is nothing blocking its movement and it "looks" fully down.

Are there any aftermarket seats that might get around this if it's not an adjustment issue ??

Thanks ... Ian

Sounds like an adjustment issue mate. My WJ seat jammed after the Mrs lifted it up, had to fiddle with it to get it to go back down.

Thanks for that. Do you remember what you had to "fiddle with" or how you got it to work properly again pls ?? I tried going up and down several times but this did not address the issue.

It was the little rods and nuts under the seat. If I remember, something had a bit of shit in it
