New TJ's
 

Got a mate who is gonna buy a TJ in the next few weeks and he's been looking at 2002 model TJ's with really low KM's on em but for a few K extra he could get a newie with full warranty etc etc etc. There was some talk a few weeks/months ago about new TJ's being 29990 driveaway etc. Was that just for 2003 models or are there still these driveaway deals to be had? Cheers

Not sure about new 03 models, but new 04 models are still 29990, but plus onroads, not driveaway.

Given the improvement of the exchange rate I think Chryler are being a bit slow to pass along the savings - possibly waiting for the old more expensive stock to to sold :?
I mean frig was could get a rubicon for the same $$ based on current xrates :roll:

If the prices drop heaps the secondhand market should come down as well, good if your buying not good if you already own :cry:

i would personally fork out a little more and buy new one with all the benefits...
depending on how much that "little more" is...

personally its only "not good" if you're planning to sell,
we already bought it, just plain tough luck...

I'm in Cairns at Ireland's jeep and the current TJ price is $29,990 + on roads.They also come with the extreme pack at the moment but are becoming very scarce.They're selling off the ship before they even arrive here.I've got people waiting till end of March at present and the margin is growing.Our latest arrivals have now been put in quarantine for a few days.Sorry Barefoot and Bomber.Buying new is the way to go.Down the road a dealer is selling an 02 for 30k so why not get new.He's great advertising for me.If I can help with any jeeps PM me.
