Jeep has announced the introduction of two limited edition Wranglers to the Aussie market - the Wrangler Freedom and The Wrangler Golden Eagle. Here's what you need to know about them. </strong> With only one hundred and twenty Golden Eagles and one hundred and fifty Freedoms hitting our shores, they are most certainly limited editions. And despite the very 'MURICA look and feel (not to mention the names), Jeep seem confident that they will resonate within the Australian market. "Since its inception the Wrangler has served as the ultimate Jeep icon as well as the world’s most capable off-road SUV,” says Guillaume Drelon, Jeep Australia Brand Director. "With lineage that can be traced back to the legendary Willys Jeep – which were once produced here in Australia – these Wrangler heritage editions tie back to Jeep’s military origins with the ‘Freedom Edition' and to one of the most popular special editions back in the 80s with the 'Golden Eagle'. "We are very excited to bring them to Australia and pay tribute to Jeep’s heritage with these two stylish and bold Limited Editions." They are very “American” aren’t they? But having said that I like the added colour. I’d consider one. I wonder how quickly they’re going to sell.
