looks like that area is getting back to its hey day!!!

Where are our videos sister????

JAG811 19-08-2010 04:01 PM

Ha ha ha FINALY !!!

I'll keep it to one vid per week I think !!!

This was the CREB track late last year ! When JeepChick still loved JK's ..... oh how times have changed .... :-?

metallibanger05 19-08-2010 06:35 PM

haha toyota drivers, nice vid mate looks like good times

Mud'N'Guts 20-08-2010 12:29 AM

My jeep in a mud pit. Neither my jeep or my mates patrol could get up that track. But the little suzi could just walk right up that no problems at all. I kept getting hung on my diffs, the patrol was too fat, but the suzi was narrow enough to go straight up.

At the end of the video I back into the dirt wall, and that's how I got a nice dent in my plastic bumper. Also, I didn't get stuck at the end there.

'Drive it' the best track advice I've ever got.

bally12 20-08-2010 11:29 AM

try a decent set of muddies and watch where you will go then

JK07 20-08-2010 07:06 PM

Yeap If you look closely that tree stump is still there i barely missed it but the GU coming down after me hit it hard. The tracks were just awesome slippery as hell and pouring rain

Hey Zack. Where the Gq had a lay down in the last video of yours, In that exact spot i was out with a mate and was coming down that hill and had to take out a 25 foot fern tree as i could not back up or winch around it so i went straight through it. lol It used to be where his rear wheel came to rest after the flip. Great track and it will only be more off tap after this rain.

Classic! Did you pop into 2wd a few times during that vid? Just curious, havent got mine into the slippery stuff like that yet and was wondering how the brake assist limited slip diffs behave in slippery conditions. Would love to, just need to few pals along side to pull me out if I get it stuck hehe :0=

JK07 20-08-2010 09:40 PM

Yeah jeep made it easy except popping tyres

Haha yeah had her in 2wd there a few times just to send mud everywhere. Pitty I had mudflaps when the video was taken. In mud like that you have got to have ESP turned off, you can see at the start of the video when I first go into the pit and try to leave it that there is no power.. It's because I didn't have the ESP off, once off though it was easy. Braking is pretty much hopeless in mud, you just slide over it really, with ATs you do anyway (they turned to slicks in that mud), not sure about muddies. And yeah, mates are essential, but I had no plans to be pulled out by a trol or suzi haha.

:D Looks like a very interesting day for the Jeep playing with others :monkey:

When you live in NQ the wheeling doesn't get much better than that, sad to say.We did actually do some wheeling on that trip just that the video camera wasn't rolling. But don't worry, there will be more:hump::hump:

The third one (holes I think it was called) was that the tyres rubbing or something squeaking real bad?

So I'm confused ...... don't post any videos unless there's full flex and the sound of rubbing plastic ???

Can we please define "wheeling" so that do not make this mistake again .... ;)

Mud'N'Guts 31-08-2010 10:02 PM

Wheel·ing
A city of northwest West Virginia in the Panhandle on the Ohio River southwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Settled in 1769, it was an important trading post on the Cumberland Road until the 1850s. Wheeling was the state capital from 1863 to 1870 and from 1875 to 1885. Population: 29,300.

Apparently we all misunderstood the topic.

stroked 31-08-2010 11:12 PM

Looking for some Trout

Went for drive to get some Trout, not having been down this track it ended up being more fun than the fishing...
We will be going back when we have some more daylight.
The vids tend to flatten things out - seems to have felt more intense than it looked. lol
