Spare Wheel Hold down bolt

With my real road wheel spare in place I need to replace or rebuild the hold down bolt, as for the wheel to fit in the well, it has to be shiny side up so the bolt is too short, without the bolt it does bang around a bit if the back is empty.
today Id had enough so went to grab the bolt bit to extend it, its gone and got itself lost, buggered if I know where so does anyone have any idea what size the damn thing is, nothing in my box of tricks would fit it and local Mitre 10 didn't anything either , that much I do know.........

Prize is an auotgraphed pic of me with my Jeeperific, I'll even stump up the email cost............

If it was me, I would not stuff around trying to get an original bolt. Just tap a common thread into the hole & use a Bunnings or Mitre 10 bolt.

It’s certainly not a common thread and I just cut my factory one mid section and welded in an extension so now I can bolt my real mag down as normal. If you go this way happy to get the measurement for insert to weld.

Thats what I was going to do as with the spare in that position I need a bolt about 200mm, just that Ive lost the damn bolt and not knowing what thread size I'm going to have to make a new base mount for a new bolt...

Need inspiration to see if I can remove the nut from the mount or just use a bit of threaded rod and pin it in place... or maybe a tent peg type bolt to hook into the nut................. Not going to weld a nut thats for sure.....

I had a look at mine Drover, the thread is 14mmx2mm - metric coarse - as I measure it.
When we travel, the plastic floor well cover is replaced by a module with a storage drawer and also holds the Engel fridge, chairs and table.
I've replaced the original bolt with a standard bolt with a loop welded on top. Then I use a turnbuckle to hold the module into the floor recess. If ever we go upside down the module will still be stuck in place fingers X.
Hope you can find a bolt readily and simply stick a loop on top and do something to retrain your spare.
Good luck
