Road trip to SA waypoints of interest ?? Hey fellow jeepers! Wow has been a while since I was last here!
Hubby and I are planning a trip to SA next March, we have prob 2 weeks up our sleeves. We are thinking flinders, coffin bay and perhaps gawler ranges as potential stop offs. Our rig and driver ability ( driving, repairs, recovery lol) is pretty capable and we will be swagging it so looking for spots of interest a little more remote than all the grey nomads. Two spots we def have to go is just south of Adelaide to visit a friend and Fowlers bay to also visit a friend other than that we are free to trek about. If anyone has any local knowledge or waypoints that would be fantastic! There's a few private stations in the flinders but which one is best ??? Thankyou for any help! SBRoffroad.com.au |

In the northern parts of SA there are some great signs that say 'welcome to the Northern Territory' those are my favourite.. :)
Not offroad, but Hahndorf is a beautiful area east of Adelaide, little German town. I'm certain there is some offroad around there, but it's all likely private property. Have heard of a place called Humbug scrub too, but never been there myself. http://youtu.be/NCqpDX3T30Q |
