Srs airbag / 4wd system
 

2 questions 1= where abouts is the SRS airbag fuse located.
2= is it normal to expirience groaning from the drivetrain in my 4.7 WH when in 4WD low range. THANKS

Under bonnet, passenger side, closest to the front "Integrated power module" fuses 29 and 30

Are you on tar or gravel, are you turning sharply at the time?
Is it a quatradrive or trac? Does it have the correct diff oil with friction modifier?

Have no idea what oil as recent purchase QDII And both slight and sharp turns on slippery or gravel

Link wont open and there are no numbers on the closest to the front of the car

Was it a dealer service when the diff oil was changed? Maybe does not have Friction modifier?

Also check the Transfer case oil is the correct type and not ATF oil, should be a light straw colour I think, not red or green.

Update. I checked my Mobil 424 oil ( Replaced the OEM oil) and its clear/straw.
