Which Offroad system would you prefer? Obviously some of the 9 systems fitted to Jeeps have Low range as an advantage, but as a comparason lets assume they all had low range and you had the choice of any of them fitted to your Jeep without Lockers, LSD or Traction Control. Consider sand, paved, wet, icy and dirt road use too.
It will be interesting to hear from some people will have had multiple Jeeps and tried more than one of these systems. http://www.jeep.com/en/4x4/how_syste...uadra_drive_2/ I was surprised after hearing how good Quadra-Drive was suppossed to be that my Wrangler came wih a poverty pack Part Time pre-historic 4WD system instead of AWD. Didn't even get freewheeling hubs, though I can live without them. Of course the Lockers and Traction control overcome this and do give more driver choice I guess. |
