Urgent Help - Service shifter and power steering fault Hi guys,
Started my my15 lerado 3.6l after work today to first a warning message "Service shifter" then warning "Service power steering" which was followed by lossing power steer and another warning about brakes. Tried to see if anything was wrong and restarted the car, got power steering back but still warning "service shifter". I proceeded to have a nerve wracking drive home, with continuous "shifter service" warning and engine light, jumping in and out of gears at the lights. Going into some sort of limp mode where it stayed in 3rd, at some point the display died and came back on. And when i got home was unable to shift into park. Thank god i didn't lose power steering!?? Judging by these posts its something electrical https://jeepgarage.org/f77/2017-gran...ue-127498.html and https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f309...iesel-3768705/ What should I do? On one hand I want to take it to the dealer as they might be aware of the issue and can identify straight away on the other hand as recent posts here have pointed out they are useless, parts take forever and expensive. Any recommendations where i should take it, I'm in inner west Melbourne. Any help appreciated https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ee64d08954.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d0e27b6dba.jpg Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |

No... seriously. Best of luck. Maybe get it scanned somewhere before dropping it into the abyss of dealer ineptitude? |

Maybe post your location? I'd help with my scanner if you were nearby. I'm sure that there are others...
