Rust on JK door hinges

Hey guys,

I was washing the wrangler yesterday and I noticed what appears to but rust bubbles forming on the door hinges. I am taking it to Jeep tomorrow for them to have a look at but was wondering if anybody else has had this happen.

Im a bit annoyed to say the least, especially as I paid good money for the Jeep Electronic Rust Protection system.

Will let you know what Jeep says.

You've just proved that those rust protection things don't work!!

I have heard of guys in the U.S. that have had the same problem. I keenly await to hear what your dealership has to say!!

I have some small bubbles appearing at the moment too. Will point it out next service so that at least they have some record of when it started.

good luck getting it repaired, i had to scream from the mountain tops and get the head office involved for paint / cosmetic repairs on my TJ. It took several weeks of calls every day to get it resolved.

Even then they had to send out a state rep who took a look with his own two eyes before they would even send it off for a quote!

Yeah I figure with the abuse mine cops, thats a fair trade off... I also have lil wear marks between the flare and paint work where the flare has rubbed the paint away
