Another successful Camp Coffs has come and gone. Holding the event in the same location each year certainly makes running Camp Coffs much easier. Set up is straight forward and can be completed in a day. This is essential for an annual event as they come around very quickly. Our local club members from the Coffs Coast Jeepers worked tirelessly with all aspects of the event, so a big thankyou to them again. I still get a buzz out of meeting people new to Jeeping and attending their first Camp Coffs. It's great to see their reaction to the many Jeeps in camp and their excitement after they return from the trips. It's also great to catch up with Jeepers who have been susbcribing and attending for many years and even some we have known before the Jeep Action Magazine days. Easter next year is early April so Camp Coffs 2012 will come around very quickly. This issue we have part one of our Camp Coffs coverage, feature the JK-8 Independence from Moab, conclude our series on Stroking the 4.0L motor and feature a radically converted XJ Cherokee from France. Enjoy, Michael Bowen |
