hey all
just purchased a 2009 (built October 2008) grand Cherokee,3.0 crd and was wanting to buy a resistor for the swirl motor, were can i purchase this or does someone have a spare that they would like to sell me, thanks

Does a Provent help protect the swirl motor?

Does a Provent help protect the swirl motor? Provent will catch a lot of oil vented through the PCV system but not all, so it does provide a degree of protection, I don't have any sort of Provent/catch can.

I should carry some resistors in my glove box but I don't.:hammer:

I am doing this to 100% guarantee no oil on the swirl, parts arrived yesterday.

What does what you are fitting do that makes it more effective than a provent?
Sorry if the question is stupid but I don't understand how what you are doing works & I'd appreciate you taking the time to explain

Provides a better seal between the intake, the turbo & the PCV connection so any oil stays in the intake. All connections will be camped not just pushed on.
