iDatalink Maestro RR in Australia Hi All,
I’ve been looking at replacing my gps RHP head unit in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. From what I’ve read if you want all the full intergration with the cam bus and the evic. You need to get the iDatalink Maestro RR conversion kit. The other ones only do steering controls and the speakers with no fade front and back. Has anyone imported one of these? Did it work on an Australian Jeep? Where did they get it from? Any issues or things that didn’t work? Which head unit did you use it with? Thanks in advance |

Sure be interested if anyone can find an Aust available head unit that can make full use of the iDatalink system - be great to have. |
Sorry to say that it's not compatible with Australian Head units. It asks for a head unit serial number when flashing. I could look at importing a USA unit with the built in idatalink port to try. I don't know if they are the same with radio frequencies ect.... anyone know??

guys, this is the one I want:
https://alpine-usa.com/product/view/...-auto-i207-wra It has everything including the Maestro iDatalink module included. Totally plug and play for our Jeeps, including side trim bits, and gives us all the on board data info (TPMS, guages etc) as well as retaining all factory stuff. AND it works with the Alpine 9 speaker systems! Not sure about the radio concerns. I get mixed info about this. The US AM tuning definitely won't work here, but hear different stories about FM - most say it does work. I've also been told that Halo 9 will work with the Maestro iDatalink, but think that's a bit of a doggie unit. |

Something like this could also be an option, and allow you to run engine monitoring apps like torque as well |
