It shows a WJ with a Navara snorkel, below are the pic's. You can make up your own mind weather you like it or not.

As per usual - it's on the wrong bloody side!!! It's also pretty long and ugly.... but at least it'd work... At least it looks better than it would with a Navara stuck to it.

would look better if the hat could be pulled down to roof level.

I think it's where it is probably because you still have to be able to open and shut the door. The over-wrap door frames on a WJ are huge...
