Advice on 2.8 CRD 2007 vs 2008 nm auto spec Hi Folks, I am looking at a 3/2007 build which shows the engine torque at just over 400nm then in the 2008, redbook shows torque increase to 460nm and after a lot of searching, I’ve lucked out on finding out what changed in the year as 60nm is a good jump up. Or was a transmission change, recalibration the difference?
Normally this jumps right out online and I’m keen on the JK in 2 door diesel auto. |
I think the diff ratios changed too, from 4.11 to 3.73
They probably tuned the engine a little more and dropped the ratios to try and eek out better fuel usage the manuals come with 400 (or 410 maybe?) as well. Most people think this id because the manual clutch is a bit weak I would expect everything to be the same and the torque difference is probably entirely ECU based. 2007-2010 had the same auto gearbox |
