Yep that's why I left SA for Vic (hehe.. not really but it has its advantages). So many more opportunities over here for 4 wheel driving.

After seeing how many public areas are open here in vic and so close to the city it makes me realise that we are way to conservative in Adelaide. Cant do anything without someone kicking up a stink. There must be hundres of tracks running through the Adelaide Hills that are all closed off.

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

Yea, your right Maz, had a great track close to home where the 24 hr bike event used to go, great dunes-woop de do'z, mud in winter and a big spring at the bottom that in winter would completely swollow my old XJ. Kids always wanted me to go home through it. They fenced it all and told us that all surrounding landowners wanted it shut to save the environment. Funny thing was I now the farmer who owns most of the land around it and he says that he knew nothing about it until it was closed [and he is a trail bike compeditor] The fences got cut a few times so these greenies cut down some of the trees to put across the tracks. Still makes me see red!
