Places to try out a New KJ Extreme Sport near the Gold Coast

Hello there,

I have just got my First Jeep a 04 KJ Extreme sport, And was wondering where i could take my Missus and Kids for a bit of a drive and a picnic ( gotta put something in there for them) aroung the Gold Coast Hinterland?
There have been no mods done to it yet so something relativley easy.

Thanks for your time

Well you could come for a mild drive in Ormeau. Also down there you have Cunungra, have not been there but sounds like fun.

Fouros,

Jimmy

Is ormeau o.k for a Off road Virgin in a shiny new toy?, Its a work car so i dont want to bend it with in a forghtnight of getting it, and will it be ok for a 3 and 4 year old looking at some of the posts it looks like you could do a fair bit of Damage

when the SCJC & QLD Jeepers went to Cunungra last time it was a no go for a stock 4wd the wash out were to deep you could of parked a zook in them. but it might of changed now maybe.

and Ormeau i would not take anyone in there that has not done any 4wding!! or let then go in alone for that matter.

there must be some places around the Gold Coast but!

is there any Gold Coast jeep club members on Ausjeep?

fouros, there are tracks i would take a stock vehicle into ormeau through, but honestly it would have to be though out exactly which ways i took you. honestly if you did want to go there i could guarantee a fun carnage free day with lots to learn.

i dont damage other peoples rigs, just me own ;)

yeah it be ok if you go with someone like JB that has been there a few times before but don't go in on your own.... just safer in numbers **)
