WH: Grand Hemi build

Just picked up a rather high KM example of a Hemi with a few extras. She's had a interesting history as was originally sold in South Africa and brought into Australia as a personal import (Yellow plate). A few extras that it came with, some known, some discovered...

  1. Roof cage with wheel carrier and jerry can holders x 4
  2. Bluetooth handsfree kit
  3. Unichip???
  4. 265/70/R17 ATs (doesn't appear to have been lifted)
  5. 2 spare rims
  6. 1 extra spare tyre
  7. Better muffler of some kind (louder than stock)

First tasks are as below:
  1. Engine oil - done
  2. Front diff - done
  3. Rear diff
  4. Transfer case - done
  5. Transmission - done
  6. Coolant
  7. Thermostat (with lower to try and head of valve retainer issue)
  8. Serpentine belt
  9. Track down the Unichip to see if its plug and play or wired in as I'll eventually want to replace with a Superchips Flashpaq - Cant find the damn thing!!!!!!
  10. Front diff bushes - seems that these are all good
  11. Guard trim / pinch weld mod

We have the same and love it, hemi is an awsome engine (sports muffler is a must as well) I would consider spending a bit more and get the jeeperf poly bushes for the front diff if you havent already.

Ahhh thats another one I missed adding to the above, its already got a different muffler as its definitely louder than the ones I've driven previously. Thanks for the heads up on the bushes, there are ALOT of nice items on their site :)

The bushes are worth it from what I hear, I haven't fitted mine yet, or the long range tank, or made a rear bumper/tyre carrier, lots still to do, got any pics.

Ordered a CRDSTU lift kit, will look to fit a lot of suspension items during the lift install.
