rear clearance on 37's I recently upgraded from 35's to 37's and this weekend im heading out for the first time for a play.
I had trimmed the inner plastic guards, but still had some minor rubbing when I hit big pot holes (where I live are plenty of badly maintained dirt roads) so today I did some more trimming, and looking at the rear tyres, they look almost as wide as the clearance between the body. Im running a 4" lift and was wondering if I will get any rubbing on the metal or do they clear the bodywork on upward travel? cheers |
You haven't told us anything about your wheels or your tires so its an impossible question to answer....

Ive still got the Mickey T sidebiter rims that you fitted 4 years ago, and have swapped out the 35" MTZ's for 37" MTZ's  |
Would you like to share the rim offset and width. :-)

If all that has change is an increase in tyre diameter then add at least an inch more bump stop. May need to adjust your steering stops too.
