New radio and stacker removal

G'day guys

just installed a new head unit today.
now the big question, how to remove the stacker out the back? sure i could figure it out eventually but trying to save some time.
And then, what to do with the hole? are there blanking plates available? cant find anything. or is there something else to put in there?

and on another note have an original cd player for sale!;)

This is actually something I would like to do myself.
I'm interested in other peoples feedback.

One question I do have, where did you buy your radio plate cover? As I'm after one at the moment.
Thanks
Mikulas

hmm, cant help with part number, threw the packaging out, but got it from air sound and vision in cairns, or alternatively autobarn will get one in, think they quoted me $45.
Now all i need is a blanking plate for the stacker or something else i can put in there!

Thanks heaps. I'll try autobahn tomorrow.
What radio did you end up getting?
Cheers

All i wanted was something to bluetooth phone so i could listen to music when out bush.
Found a clearance one at repco for 75bux! one of there brands i think! one word of warning, if its a flip face HU and slides in from the rear, the face wont flip down due to the facia design, doesnt bother me as i dont listen to cd's anyway.

I removed my stacker on the weekend, I gutted the unit then put it back in its place it is now used as a storage shelf for straps and stuff

interesting, so gutted the insides of the actual unit? and left the 2 sliding doors on?
how you get to it, did you have to take the panel off to get it out?
