Commander Crd fuel consumption slashed

Hi all,

Vehicle is a 08 commander Ltd crd 65th anniversary, with crd Stu lift with airbags, GDE tune(yes I have kept the dpf) plates, 110lt aux tank, some nice custom drawers, and a tyre trek swing away. So a bit heavy, compared with stock. Happy snaps below for those interested.

Fuel consumption in my Commander Crd had been progressing towards a consistent 13.8-14/100km. Mixed with feeling more and more sluggish.
Just put down to mostly short 10min trips to and from work.

Had a little read into different things and decided to buy a can of crc MAF cleaner.

Boy did it work. The amount of shit that came out of the MAF was impressive to say the least.

With a mix of about town and 110km on the highway she is currently sitting on 10.4lt/100. Best I have seen in years. With the hesitation all but gone. Idles smoother and nicer feeling all round. Will probably settle around the 11 with a little more town driving.

Very happy with the results from a simple 10min job. Do try it for yourself!!!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b262d9b54a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ce93a7b6a8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...86c0cae5a8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0024508012.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d9487fca00.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f1d6ee13c8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0bf09041f9.jpg
