Low throttle pedal JK Diesel 1 Attachment(s)
Sick and tired of having uneven throttle pedal to brake pedal on your JK diesel?
See the pic and instructions below and have the added advantage of better throttle response and a more comfortable driving position:0= |
30 minute Throttle Fix 5 Attachment(s)
Nooooo that is so redneck...or should I say redwood, or maybe hardwood??
Get a plastic doorstop/cabinet making wedge and two m6 bolts, one 30mm one 40mm and 30 minutes and you have a permanent solution that gives the right height and the right angle. Quick steps, remove TPS and then remove the two studs using a 1/4" socket set..4mm I think? Lay wedge on the TPS base, trace and cut off excess with bench grinder etc Drill two holes in wedge. Lay wedge on wall and use two bolts to secure the TPS....Done! Enjoy and you will wonder why you didnt do it sooner and forget how wierd it felt before! Matt. |
Don't you have to have rubber on the pedal face? Ie maccas solution.

Pedal face on the JK is plastic anyways
