JOCV "JEEPFEST" - March 12th 2006
Location: Werribee Testing ground.

Come along to Werribee test track to test your Jeep versus Nature. Rob Emmins, Jeep Outback racer, has developed probably one of the greatest 4WD test venues available. From bumps the size pebbles to hill to test anyone’s courage - it has something for everyone.

Don’t want to drive? Then turn up for the BBQ, a chat and spectate others, or jump in as a passenger. Sit and listen to our two accredited 4WD instructors explain the benefits of driver training.

Come and see if I can finally make it UP the staircase.
Last 2 attempts involved DNF of that section.
1st involved bottomingout at the base of the steps and proceding no further up or down.
2nd was 3/4 of the way up and engine died, front brakes locked and sliding backwards to the bottom.
Ever heard 20 people inhale in shock simultaniously, accompanied by the sound and sensation of a sphincter tightening.....
WILL HE MAKE IT THIS YEAR????

FANTASTIC, event is completey free but I will check just to make sure that you don't need to pay to get into the testing ground.
