Are all 5 Spokes the same??

Thinking about pulling the trigger and getting some 5 spoke rims for my WG.

Are they all the same, or do I need to find out what they came off? Do they all have the same offset / backspacing? I know they came out on the JK, but was that the only model?

If they're off the JK I believe they're all the same 17" flavour.

Later JLs are 18" and provide a different set of looks if you want something different.

Thanks Bodgie. I will do my homework on JK and JL rims. I know this is an issue that has been covered many times in the forum, but there is so much to read on it (and I have), and so many comments, it is hard to be sure.

I thought I was limited to JK, so good to know. There are a cheap set of JK rims with 245/70/17's which seems to be rare. Good to get a feel for the diameter change. There are some nice looking JL rims out there though.

I stuck with 17s so I could keep more tyre sidewall which is better for offroad work. Some of the 18s do look nice though.

I think the JK runs a little more offset than the WG/WJ, so fitting JK runs widens the track a little. I think around 20mm (10mm a side) which is legal in most states.

They sure do. I have fitted 245/70R17 on the JK rims. Had 245's before on stock rims, but there is no doubt these are sticking out further.

They look way better than the rims that were on it.

I was thinking of going to a 265 for my next tyre. With the increased track of the JK rims, I am not sure if I will fit 265's and keep the tyre inside the guard. I don't want flares, so might be keeping the 245's. I need to get out there with a plumb bob, measure the space I have to the guard, then go looking for the Vic laws. I know they tyre needs to be inside the guard, just don't know which part of the guard they mean. Hopefully it is in-line with the axle.

Should be alright. Mine appears to have the same rim type and I have 265/60/17 installed. Nothing sticks out. However, my rims were already on the car and I guess it came with them from the factory. So they will be most likely WJ/WG rims.

I will replace them with the ones from the V8 when the time has come and once the suspension is upgraded. These are on steel rims and are 285/75/16. For those I will need some flares though.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e61ced5586.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a2bad4ffdf.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6c30e0f83d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...36e8570077.jpg
