Brake pads, what do I buy? It will be time for new pads when I get home from this trip, so I'm after suggestions for replacement options.
Im currently using EBC Greenstuff, but I won't be using them again. Bit too much fade with the van on under heavy braking down hill, and I think they will be lucky to last 60,000 km. Fire away guys, I was considering going to EBC Redstuff, but the price is a tad prohibitive. Cheers, Robert Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk |
I only use bendix on cars I service. They are reliable predictable have great pedal feel from the moment they are installed and I don’t get come backs as the customers are always happy

Bendix on both the 2010 WH (and WK2),done 80.000ks on new set and still plenty left.Mind you must say use the engine braking a lot whether towing or normal driving.

Have you looked into EBC Extra Duty Light Truck, Jeep and SUV Brake Pads https://ebcbrakes.com/product/extra-...ads-test-page/
Again price is a problem |
I've seen them but not read and reviews. I'm a bit short of data mate at present, I'm 150km north of Coober Pedy at a roadhouse. Once we land on internet town (wherever the hell that is!) , I'll take a better look.

On the way back we'll stop in. Being 4 days behind because of that damn CV has made us put the pedal down somewhat...
