where can i get a weeks 1&2 egr delete kit?

I've been looking for the weeks 1&2 stage egr delete kit. sasquatch doesn't seem to have any, that i could find on their website. I've found a few on ebay but I'm a bit concerned about ebay quality.

Ask on lostjeep, Discussions about them have occurred from time to time.

I've been searching there too don't worry. still the only supplier's i can find are on Ebay. I'd go with just the blocking plate, but, i am still running the factory ceramic glow plugs and number 2 is throwing a code. scan said it's the connection but that's irrelevant, i have the 7v stainless glow plugs here and i will have to stop procrastinating and fit them eventually. i might aswell do the whole lot properly while I've got it apart.

Seth had to stop doing them because of the US EPA crackdown on ANY mods affecting the "environmental " systems on a vehicle - same reason Green Diesel had to reign in their tunes. However, while GD will (last I heard) export their tunes - easy as its a software flash, Seth can't do the same as there is not enough export demand to justify the manufacture costs.

The ebay kits look to be copies of his system, but no idea of the quality. A good effect of his kit, was not simply blocking off the valve, but removing the whole unit (easier access to the glowplugs) and taking out the coolant loop for it - reducing the number of spots leaks can occur. I also recorded an improvement in mpg, but I stress only on a long run from London to Vienna - daily driving (unless its several hundred miles each way) wouldn't show anything.

well that's a bugger. I'll have to go with the ebay kits then.

Tim you neeed to be very careful with these EGR delete kits. I can vouche for the Greeen Diesel software, as it has been running in my old KJ for over ten years. Sad to hear Green Diesel has had to comply with the EPA regs, as I thought Trump had got them to throw out any enviro reg activities, although some US states do test vehicles for this.
Remember that the stock KJ CRD ECM software has a compressor surge protection routine, which uses the EGR valve to dump overboost pressure into the exhaust manifold, typically when you back off the throttle suddenly. This feature protests the turbo varible vane setup and supposedly extends turbo life. This feature was carried over in the Green Diesel tunes because it was deemed to be so important. It is the only time Green Diesel actually acutates the EGR valve, for the boost dump.
Simply blocking off the exhaust manifold port is not going to help with turbo longevity, because thr pressure will have no where to go (unless you continue to use the EGR as a dump valve, which is what I did on mine). Changing the flow control valve for the bypass setup will not provide any place for the overboost pressure to go, except to back up out the turbo vanes. You could try to find a blow off valve to plumb into the intake but it will require knowledge of what pressure needs to be set.
