Gday from WA

GDAY guys I am newly acquired WJ V8 4.7 auto jeep owner, still with a smiling face. Have only had to change the poorly desingned radiator, otherwise has run like dream. Super comfortable, excellent for towing, and with a nice grumble from the aftermarket exhaust supplied with the said purchased vehicle. Have done a little offroad with a dirt bike trailer attached(and of course some bikes) up to wedge for long weekends and was quite impressed with the way it got thru everything. The planning has currently started on myself and wifes dream trip of travelling from Perth, up north,Broome, darwin ,cairns ,etc then across and down to our original home of Melbourne over the course of 3 to 4 months next year with a caravan in tow. Would love to hear of experiences, advice, reccommended additions to vehicle(ie:trans cooler/ hoses, etc.)Possibly even a direct gas injection conversion. Sorry for all the questions, but I would rather over perpare, than under deliver and be dissappointed with breakdowns that could of possibly be avoided, Would rather spend the money on a vehicle that I know and really enjoy driving in. Thanks for any assistance. By the way I have a full 6 months to prepare thoroughly. Some other stats are that I will be towing just under 2 tonne caravan, Appreciate any input. Jason D

Hey bigfella :)

I am in the market for a rig like yours. Can you indicate roughly what you paid for it? I have seen a Grand Cherokee Laredo and a Limited on various websites for sale with similar kms on the clock. I think the Laredo is the higher spec vehicle but not sure of the differences.

And what is poor about the radiator? Will I need to replace it straight away?

Thx
