Jeeps Catching on Fire...Is it true.??

Hi Guys,

I have mentioned to a few people that I was looking at getting a new Cherokee Sport, and they seemed concerned, and said they had heard a lot of them had caught on fire.!!!! Is there any truth to this, should I be concerned, honestly, about getting a jeep.

Thanks

Its all true mate.
I had a mate. He drove it out of the lot. First set of traffic lights it caught fire and he died.

Do you beleive everything you read?

My Cherokee dash caught on fire, once because of my wiring and another time just because it felt like it. I feel sorry for whoever has to play with it after my patch up job though.

The whole Jeeps catching of fire joke is getting pretty boring though. People seem to be over this "Jeep Thing" and into the "Jeeps Catch Fire" joke now.

Just thought I'd ask caught me by suprise I was all excited about going to drive one on the weekend to be told by 2 people they had heard a few of them had caught fire. Didn't know why, I had never heard of it though.

Thanks for the comments

Brucensal - most people think Jeeps are:
1. Gay
2. Prone to catching fire
3. Gay

I bought a Jeep because I like them and I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks about my rig including the wife.

Whats wrong with them catching fire anyway....saves on the gas bill for the BBQ
