Class action, good news

Well I'm sick of hearing bad news about Jeeps, I'm pretty happy that they do recalls, my Commander 9 years old just got a new ignition switch barrel.
Shame other manufacturers don't follow Jeeps example.

Wow, if they were Jeeps they would be all over the front page of the papers.lol

I guess it's a Jeep thing, if it's a Jeep it makes Aussie headlines, anyone else it's o.k. lol

So true! I have had four Jeeps so far.. all have had a recall for minor things. Nothings perfect but you get the ppl bagging them all the time. I bought a VF commodore & it had 3 recalls in a year no big deal about that from the press. The service I got from the dealers I went to was pathetic ...I saw the light & got a new Jeep again 😆

Yep, Jeep seems to be a popular target for unfair criticism. There was an article by Joshua Dowling last year claiming that Jeep is setting the record for the most recalls in a calendar year:

The real story is that Merc and toyota both had more in 2016 than Jeep, including for risk of fire. The same journo published an incorrect article claiming Jeep was under investigation in Australia for emissions cheating, he has since changed the article.

I find it all really bizarre.....

Yes, it's as though someone is paying the media, to knock Jeep.
I saw in one of the papers the other day, a story of a bogged Jeep, jeez as though that is newsworthy.

Well the media has alot to do with public perception of a brand, it does seem they are always picking on Jeep

Has got to be paid advertising in reverse from the likes of Nissan/Toyota/Mitsubishi because JEEP has taken a lot of their sales in the last 15 years, I have two mates who are Landcruiser nuts and their cruisers spend more time on the hoist here at work than they do up the bush.
