SCX10 JK Brute- extended wheelbase

Thought I'd start a different thread for this one.

Been mucking around trying to create a 'look' for this JK Brute. After realising the shell cop a beating I've decided to build a shell that's not as 'pretty' as the Silver 4 door JK.

So Matt Black was the order of the day, easy to touch up ect. I've just finished installing some lights on the front end, havent got time to do the rears just yet. Going to do some tube bar work on this one, I've already bent up some brass rod for the rock sliders and rear grab rails ect. Need to make a custom front brass bar for her though, she's going to develop over time though I'd say. Getting a Snorkel too ;)

awesome work. actually like it as much as the other one.. some tube pre-runner style bar work in the rear could look cool.

unrelated note, im amazed jeep doesnt recognise the market for a ute styled wrangler in aus, (look how easy it is to change ;) haha

You're not wrong. They could be the new "Tradies" ute!!

Need to cut out the flares / wheelarches ect yet. All in good time :)

Managed another 5mins thisarvo to cut off the front flares. Completely transforms the look of the car instantly.

My little 2yr old decided to play with my Brothers' Digital SLR I'm borrowing at the moment....needless to say I can not get a decent pic out of it at the moment :(
