Diagnosing exhaust like smell in cabin

Guys,

A few weeks ago I noticed the faint smell of exhaust in my cabin. 2010 CRD approx 118K. I am planning on taking it to an injector shop to take a look but before I do I thought I'd put it out to the crew on here.

I've done a bit of forum scouring on here and others and I suspect it could be a bad injector seal. I've uploaded a video of it running onto youtube here.

I think there is a very faint 'puffing like sound' coming from around the injector closest to the passenger that seems like it could be a leaking seal. Anyone able to watch the video and confirm that's had experience with this?

At idle tip a bit of water around each injector, if the injector seal is blown the water will be blown out by the escaping exhaust gasses.

Thanks Clarky. Tried that out with some soapy water and worked a treat. Blew it back out a little. Clearly showed the injector closest to the passenger is leaking what smells like exhaust gas. Will get it fixed once I find a good shop in Perth.

Update for anyone interested. I took it to an injector shop in Perth. They replaced the parts ($20 in parts) and tested the injector. All working and sealed again. $454 total including labour - remove, clean injector seat, refit new washer and bolt. No more smell. Happy days.
