WA : Boranup/3 Bears/ Hamelin Bay

Thought I would throw something up for the beach lovers.

Boranup is located south of Margaret River and Slightly west of Karridale.

Entry track called " Bobs Track " goes for about 1/2 n hour and was a mixture of terrains, depending on car/driving style you could get the usual AWD Soft Roader in or take what the seems the " harder lines", in saying that 2wd with no tyre slip is very achievable during summer, Winter would be a different story,

Beach was relatively medium, i could take off in first 2wd with not too much of care. On the beach south takes you close to Hamelin Bay boat ramp, beach north takes you past Boranup and to North Point.

If you get back off at Bobs, head north 5km on Caves Road and pop in at Boranup Road, this will take you to the main carpark, or if you take one of the few access tracks this will take you directly to North Point itself. You can camp only at the Boranup Campsites and the ranger comes daily to take your money.

Also did 3 Bears which is a large surfing spot down here, about ~2 hour from start to finish, you start in Yallingup, and hooks right around the coast to Sugar Loaf Rock/Meelup/Eagle Bay. Relatively easy track, very bumpy etc, all brownish/reddish sand. 3 Bears itself has a toilet block and you can go up the lookout and see an amazing range of coast.
